What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Provide programmatic oversight for key projects related to unaccompanied children, ensuring quality service provision and monitoring deliverables
  • Supervise two to six staff members to ensure effective case management services and project deliverables are met
  • Offer technical assistance on best practices in child protection and act as a point of escalation for complex cases
  • Develop and adapt tools, guidelines, assessments, and policies to enhance child protection responses
  • Liaise with various teams to ensure the appropriate delivery of services and quality data
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • Master’s degree in behavioral sciences, human services, or social services, with at least three years of relevant experience in child protection, or a bachelor’s degree plus five years of progressive experience
  • Minimum of two years of program management experience, including oversight and compliance with contractual obligations
  • Strong understanding of the needs of unaccompanied and forcibly displaced children and families
  • Experience in developing materials related to child protection, including training and guidance
  • Proven ability to manage complex client situations centered around safety and child protection principles
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Demonstrated experience in business development
  • Strong understanding of mental health and developmental concepts related to trauma-affected children
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and virtual communication platforms
