- Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers.
- Maintain a clean, organized, professional, and safe (COPS) work environment.
- Pick, pack, stage, put away, deliver orders, and support customer will call with accuracy and efficiency.
- Support warehouse operations including cores, ship desk, hose fabrication, and will call processes.
- Apply basic principles of inventory control to keep the warehouse running smoothly.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training.
- Must be able to pass the Work Steps test for this position.
- Ability to work overtime as a job requirement dependent on department needs.
- Availability for weekend, holiday, or evening work as required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; capable of presenting information in one‑on‑one and small group settings.
- Basic math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Knowledge of database, internet, inventory, and order processing software.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to meet company driving requirements if required to drive a company vehicle.
- Ability to obtain and maintain forklift certification.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions; risk of electrical shock and explosives.
