$18–$20/hr + Monthly Bonus | In-Office
We are a multi-location service company seeking an Insurance Accounts Receivable & Collections Specialist to manage follow‑up on insurance invoices and customer balances. This role requires strong communication, organization, and experience working with insurance carriers or similar billing environments.
Responsibilities- Follow up with insurance carriers, adjusters, TPAs, and customers regarding outstanding payments
- Track AR aging and maintain detailed documentation of all collection activity
- Request any missing paperwork needed to release payment
- Communicate professionally by phone and email to resolve billing questions
- Provide weekly updates on progress and results
- 2+ years AR or collections experience
- Experience with insurance or medical billing is strongly preferred
- Persistent, organized, and comfortable managing a high volume of accounts
- Able to work independently and meet performance goals
- $18–$20 per hour, depending on experience
- Monthly performance bonus
