Public Area Attendant - DoubleTree Hilton Abilene

The new Double Tree by Hilton, located in the heart of Abilene’s vibrant arts and business district, is looking for a Public Area Attendant, Full Time
. This recently opened property offers 200 modern guest rooms and over 17,000 square feet of versatile meeting space, making it an ideal destination for both leisure and business travelers. Guests can enjoy three on‑site dining options, including a full‑service restaurant and lounge, along with thoughtful amenities such as a pool and fitness center.

Conveniently situated across the street from the Abilene Convention Center, the hotel is within walking distance of local restaurants, breweries, shops, and museums. The Adamson‑Spaulding Storybook Garden is just a block away, while the Grace Museum and Frontier Texas Museum are less than a mile from the property. For family‑friendly fun, the Abilene Zoo is only four miles away, and Abilene Regional Airport is a quick 10‑minute drive.

As a Public Area Attendant, you would be responsible for cleaning and maintaining all public areas of the hotel and responding to guest requests in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Clean designated areas including, but not limited to, restrooms, public areas, hallways, stairwells, elevators, offices and banquet/meeting/conference rooms
• Perform a variety of tasks including, but not limited to, dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, shampooing carpets, washing windows, emptying carts of soiled linens, cleaning/waxing floors, removing and disposing of trash, insects and debris and emptying ashtrays
• Greet guests in a friendly manner
• Perform deep cleaning tasks and special projects (for example: mattress flipping, furniture moves, etc.), as needed
• Assist in delivering guest requests and in cleaning guest rooms, as needed
