Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) - Long Term Care (LTC) for a 13-week travel assignment in Abilene, TX .

Speech therapists develop treatment plans to improve swallowing, cognitive and communication abilities, and to decrease aspirations. Communication treatment plans may include techniques that not only help the individual to be better understood, but also to help them better understand others.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leads, guides, and directs the delivery of speech language pathology and audiology services in the facility in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations, standards, and established facility policies and procedures to provide appropriate care and services to residents.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members
• Educate patients and families on care, medications, and discharge needs
• Adhere to infection control and safety standards
• Respond to emergencies and perform interventions as needed
• Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic care environment
• Support and guide unlicensed assistive personnel when required

Compensation:

• Weekly Pay (hourly) + Non-taxed Stipend (if eligible)
• Pay package details provided upon offer

• 2 years of PTA experience is required
• TX or compact license is required
• Strong communication, professionalism, and reliability

Compliance/Screening (Pre-Start):

• Drug screen and background check (facility required)
• Additional facility onboarding forms as assigned
