Centralized Support Registered Nurse

The Centralized Support Registered Nurse provides individualized patient care utilizing the nursing process and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high‑quality outcomes. The RN delivers compassionate, professional care while maintaining effective communication with patients and their families.

• Provide individualized care to adult patients during admission and discharge.
• Float to various inpatient units as needed based on hospital capacity and competency requirements.
• Uphold the standards of the Texas Nurse Practice Act.
• Participate in committees, surveys, and performance‑improvement initiatives.

• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing (AD or Diploma)

• Recent acute care experience required

• Registered Nurse – State of Texas License
• CPR/BLS – required
• ACLS – required before completion of orientation
• NIHSS – required before completion of orientation

• Maintain professional appearance at all times
• Handle confidential information responsibly
• Input data into computer systems/programs
• Operate and work with therapeutic equipment
• Strong understanding of the nursing process and deliver care based on established standards of practice
