Anesthesia technicians provide ancillary support to the anesthesia service under the supervision of a licensed anesthesia provider by maintaining and assembling adequate anesthesia supplies and equipment. They prepare anesthesia equipment and supplies necessary for the administration of general, regional or moderate anesthesia care. Due to the broad range of medical conditions they encounter, they must be well‑versed in a large variety of health conditions.
