Job Details:

• Deliver direct and individualized nursing care to patients in the Critical Care Unit (CCU)

• Utilize the nursing process to provide comprehensive patient care

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure effective patient care delivery and achieve desired outcomes

• Maintain professional nursing standards while interacting with patients and visitors

• Must be well-versed in a large variety of health conditions due to broad range of medical conditions encountered

• May be required to float to different floors or other campus locations

• Must live 150 miles or more from the facility

• Required certifications: RN license, BCLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Texas RN License

• Minimum 2 years of experience in service line required

• Travel experience preferred

• Altera charting system experience preferred but not required

• Must complete orientation modules (average 6-8 hours, non-billable)

• Facility conducts mandatory drug screening upon arrival including marijuana testing

• Must be available to complete required lab items within 72 hours of accepting offer
