Mesa Springs Healthcare in Abilene, TX, is seeking a dedicated full-time Occupational Therapist to join our in-house therapy team with a focus on delivering high-quality care in a dynamic work environment.

Core responsibilities include contributing to rehabilitation planning, delivering evidence-based interventions, and collaborating with the health team to support patient outcomes.
Qualifications- Licensed Occupational Therapist
- Open to applicants of all experience levels - New Grads Welcome!
- Screen/evaluate patients with cognitive and/or ADL physical functioning disorders and develop appropriate plans of care following regulatory and clinical standards.
- Utilize standardized assessments and evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions.
- Provide rehabilitative, skilled and medically necessary treatment interventions for cognitive and/or ADL disorders per regulatory and practice requirements.
- Administer procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan (e.g., ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, modalities, assistive devices).
- Assess patient progress and adjust treatments in the clinical record per regulatory requirements.
- Evaluate treatment outcomes and modify services accordingly; make referrals as needed based on outcomes.
- Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers related to physical disorders.
- Communicate effectively with supervisor and health team members regarding patient progress, barriers, and plans.
- Provide comprehensive discharge summaries as required.
