Brief Description
The Senior Electrical Engineer is responsible for designing, analyzing, and overseeing electrical systems in heavy industrial projects. This role involves ensuring compliance with industry standards, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and providing technical leadership to deliver efficient and reliable solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in electrical engineering for industrial applications and a strong ability to manage complex projects.
Essential Job FunctionsPlease note:

- Engineer will be responsible for planning and coordination of both smaller ($5M and less) and larger projects ($200M+).
- Engineer will be responsible for developing, approving and coordinating work schedules of junior engineers, designers, and drafters on a project-to-project basis and ensure that objectives of cost, quality and time are met.
- Engineer will be responsible for conducting upfront site visits, power systems analysis, project site plans, develop electrical equipment lists, motor load lists, drawing lists, manage projects as a lead electrical engineer and coordinating all startup/commissioning/testing activities.
- Engineer will be responsible for resolving major and minor technical issues with design, enforce project standards, and enforce code requirements on project.
- Engineer will be responsible for providing guidance on design and technical issues with subordinate engineers.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS PER JOB LEVEL
- Sr. Electrical Engineer IV – Bachelor’s Degree/Continuing Education; PE license; ten (10) years experience
- Sr. Electrical Engineer III – Bachelor’s Degree/Continuing Education; PE license; twelve (12) years experience
- Sr. Electrical Engineer II – Bachelor’s Degree/Continuing Education; PE license; fourteen (14) years experience
- Sr. Electrical Engineer I – Bachelor’s Degree/Continuing Education; PE license; fifteen (15) years experience
Compensation for this role is determined based on a variety of factors including each candidate’s relevant experience, industry background, education, and demonstrated skills. Final compensation will be discussed during the interview process and may vary within the posted range.
