Data Center Commissioning Project Manager (Lead Mechanical) – TX / Remote. Full-Time – (Remote/Travel). Base salary $135K to $165K (Total Comp $160K to $190K)

We deliver Mission-Critical Infrastructure Solutions for Hyperscale Data Center Projects with top technology clients such as Microsoft, Google, Meta, and AWS. By engaging early in the design and construction process, we ensure systems perform as intended—providing a reliable foundation for long-term operational success.

The successful candidate will:

• Be self‑motivated and well versed in Data Center projects involving large building MEP systems design, commissioning, retro‑commissioning, energy modeling/analysis and construction for complex buildings.
• Conduct assessment, optimization and/or commissioning activities for utility plants.
• Perform construction observations, review contract documents, develop functional test plans and execute tests for a wide variety of mechanical and controls systems.
• Execute retro‑commissioning engineering/energy studies and contribute to design and energy projects for national industrial, institutional and commercial clients.
• Assist in managing small to large Data Center projects to meet client expectations for technical excellence, budget, and schedule.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• At least 4 years of specific Data Center Commissioning experience (Electrical/Mechanical).
• Experience with Project Management – scheduling, coordination with staff & contractors, verifying field quality, accountability, and working well under pressure.
• Technical mechanical expertise.
• Available to be on‑site ~60% to 70%.
• Experience managing staff.
• Experience diagnosing and solving construction and operational problems.
• Experience managing design/energy services commissioning project resources to a pre‑determined scope, fee, and schedule.
• Knowledge of building codes, construction industry standards such as ASHRAE, LEED.
• Effective leadership and written & verbal communication skills.

• PE, CBCP, BCxP, CEM, CCP, CxA.
