Primary
Purpose:
Oversee assessment, accountability, and school improvement services for the district. Implement local, state, and federal student assessment programs. Analyze and interpret results to identify student performance trends and support campus and district leaders. Provide ongoing state and federal accountability and school improvement support to campus and district leaders.
Education/Certification: Master's degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in the field of education.

Experience:
- 3 years of experience in instructional leadership, assessment, and accountability.
- Campus administration experience is beneficial.
Accountability, Analysis, and
Collaboration:
Analyze and interpret compiled student test data to identify trends and opportunities. Ensure that campus instructional and administrative staff receive timely data in a clear and usable format to enable them to effectively develop student achievement goals and objectives. Develop and present statistical studies, analysis, and accountability reports and support as required. Conduct additional customized research based on district or individual campus needs.
Work with district PEIMS, CTE, and administrative staff to ensure all district and campus data used for the state accountability system is reported accurately and in its entirety within the appropriate time frames. Use appropriate resources to provide predictive state and federal accountability data to district administration. Oversee, collaboratively develop, and maintain school improvement plans and requirements with appropriate campus and district staff.
Consult with district staff to develop, administer, and interpret evaluation guidelines and procedures. Collaborate with instructional leaders to develop, design, and select measurement instruments to assess the effectiveness of instructional programs and pilot projects. Participate in ongoing professional learning and collaboration activities to stay updated on all changes or anticipated changes to the state accountability system. Inform campus and district leaders of these changes.
Assessment: Develop and implement procedures for security and confidentiality of local, state, and federal testing programs and verify that procedures are followed and deadlines are met. Order, secure, distribute and submit all local, state, and federal assessment materials and/or programs in a manner that ensures timely administration and meets all security requirements. Ensure that appropriate testing accommodations are provided for Limited English Proficient (LEP) students and students receiving special services as indicated in students' ARD, LPAC, 504, and other relevant special needs documentation.
Develop and conduct training for district test coordinators and campus test administrators to ensure that tests are conducted and procedures are consistently followed. Maintain and ensure integrity of testing data. Identify, investigate, and address testing irregularities. Report discrepancies and disciplinary actions taken against students as required.
Budget, Recordkeeping, Reporting, and Inventory: Complete evaluation and compliance reports as required by federal and state programs. Develop, implement, and maintain an inventory system to track and monitor location of test materials throughout the distribution, return, and storage process. Administer department budget and ensure that programs are cost-effective and funds are managed wisely. Compile, maintain, file, and secure all reports, records, and other required documents.
Personnel Management: Assign work to testing coordinators and oversee completion. Oversee time management, responsibilities, and performance of clerical/support staff as assigned.
Other: Organize logistics for scheduling and conducting all testing in the district including staffing, distribution, and security. Attend board meetings as assigned.
