Overview

Employer Industry: Moving and Transportation Services

• Assist customers with U-Haul products and services both inside and outside the center
• Utilize smartphone-based U-Scan technology for managing rentals and inventory
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers, ensuring safety and efficiency
• Clean and inspect rental equipment, including checking fluid levels
• Prepare rental invoices and handle equipment returns

• Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including moving equipment weighing a minimum of 50 lbs
• Willingness to participate in ongoing training and education
• Availability to work in a moderately risky environment requiring special safety precautions

• Previous experience in customer service or related fields
• Familiarity with equipment inspection and maintenance
• Certification in forklift operation or willingness to obtain it
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
