Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Abilene, TX, for a Business Relations Specialist. The Business Relations Specialist will focus on building and maintaining strong relationships with businesses in the community. Key responsibilities include connecting with local organizations, promoting BBB accreditation, identifying business development opportunities, and providing training sessions to foster trust and transparency within the marketplace. The role requires proactive engagement with stakeholders, facilitating partnership opportunities, and driving BBB's mission to enhance marketplace credibility.
Qualifications
- Strong Business Relations and Business Development skills to build and nurture partnerships with organizations effectively
- Excellent Communication and Sales abilities with an emphasis on building trust, engaging with businesses, and promoting development initiatives
- Experience with Training and mentoring to educate businesses about best practices and the benefits of BBB accreditation
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team and contribute to local community-focused initiatives
- Previous experience in a client-facing or business-focused role is preferred
- A passion for promoting trust and ethical practices in the marketplace
