Business Coordinator – Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center

Overview

Join Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) as a Business Coordinator and help support the operational and administrative functions of our department. TTUHSC is a nationally recognized institution dedicated to education, patient care, and innovative research across Texas.

Position Description

Performs coordinative work in the business or administrative operation of a specific department or college. Responsibilities involve the coordination and supervision of the various functions and aspects of a department, monitoring operational procedures, and supervising staff or student assistants under general supervision.

Responsibilities
  • Run reports, calculate data, and communicate with unit FHA’s. Compile data into Excel workbooks.
  • Receive, maintain, and distribute appropriate QI reports to governing agencies; conduct monthly meetings; record and distribute meeting minutes; monitor quality indicators and formulate corrective action plans.
  • Provide feedback via written, email, verbal, or telephonic response to facilitate effective communication of information.
  • Ensure monthly reports are uploaded to SharePoint and monitor administrative meeting minutes in the shared drive.
  • Participate in the overall goals of the Managed Care team and support the unit by attending meetings.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree plus two (2) years related experience, or a combination of education and/or progressively responsible related experience equal to six (6) years.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous corrections experience.
