Outside Shipper

Outside Shipper - 1st Shift - Abilene Facility

Great Plains Manufacturing is currently seeking a 1st Shift Outside Shipper at our Abilene Facility.

This position works Monday through Thursday from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with overtime as required.

• Safely load GP product on a variety of different trailers
• Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions
• Ability to maintain paperwork accuracy
• Must be able to work overtime or flexible hours on short notice
• Must be mechanically inclined
• Must be open to change
• Other duties may be assigned that require other qualifications, physical demands, and/or work environment
• Follow all Great Plains and OSHA safety regulations and wear prescribed PPE as required

• Strong Written and Verbal Communication skills
• Strong organization and housekeeping
• Experience driving a variety of different forklifts
• Strong knowledge of Great Plains product structure helpful
• Exhibit self-motivation, positive attitude and be results oriented
• Must have a mechanical background
