- Valid Physical Therapy Assistant state license (please note rate ranges are estimates and may vary based on skill set and location)
Provide physical therapy and related services for patients under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist (PT), maintaining positive interactions with facilities and clients in accordance with state and federal regulations and Reliant Rehabilitation guidelines. Provide quality patient care, including ongoing treatment per a plan of care, supervision of rehabilitation techs (where required), and case management responsibilities.
- Under the direction of the licensed PT, optimize functional abilities and skills of patients
- Build and maintain a strong physical therapy program
- Enhance clinical, professional, and management skills through interaction with managers, therapists, and other staff, as well as self‑study and continuing education
- Maintain a valid state license and stay informed about issues related to the profession and healthcare environment
- Understand relevant payment models, billing, and treatment guidelines, providing quality care within guidelines and meaningful goals
- Adhere to infection control procedures and environmental safety protocols within the facility
- Read, write, speak, and comprehend English, including instructions, correspondence, charts, memos, and reports
