The ward is an excellent learning environment for all grades and professions and all staff are encouraged to develop to their maximum potential, with a wide range of formal training available both from the Health Board and the local University setting, and also from our ward-based development programme. The ward actively utilises Dementia Care Mapping to inform care planning and improve service delivery for its patients.
