Our client is a fast‑growing manufacturing business is seeking an immediately available Interim Finance Director to support a critical phase of scale‑up, new product introduction, and significant investor activity.

Key Focus Areas

Financial Leadership & Reporting
- Own monthly management accounts, budgeting, and forecasting
- Strengthen controls, policies, and reporting quality to support fast decision‑making
- Deliver timely, insight‑rich Board reporting and shareholder updates

Cashflow & Funding Readiness
- Lead short‑ and medium‑term cashflow management during a tight liquidity phase
- Support preparation for upcoming investment rounds and evaluate alternative funding options

Support ERP Delivery
- Support implementation and data accuracy across finance, manufacturing, and supply chain
- Ensure real‑time reporting is reliable and trusted for operational decisions

Manufacturing Finance & Costing
- Improve product costing, BOM accuracy, and variance analysis
- Support cost control and efficiency during launch of the new e‑bike platform

Commercial & Strategic Insight
- Enhance pricing, margin, and profitability analysis across products and channels
- Support scenario modelling and international growth planning

Grants & External Funding
- Identify and pursue grant funding opportunities and manage submissions

Investor Relations & Legal

- Take the lead on Investor communications and reporting and Legal issues.

Candidate Requirements

- Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Strong SME Head of Finance or Finance Director background with experience of cash flow management and raising finance.
- Hands‑on, commercially minded, and effective in fast‑paced environments

- Deep experience in a product-based business, ideally manufacturing / engineering

- ERP implementation experience useful
