LocationAberystwyth SY23; commutable from Aberystwyth, Machynlleth, Rhayader, Aberaeron, Tywyn, Dolgellau, Newquay, Cardigan.
Salary£30,000

- Use Solid Works to design new products to user requirements and functional specifications, including 3d cad and 2d drawings.
- Use Solid Works to support our existing product range.
- Prototype, test and validate part designs.
- Work with the Process Engineering team to help design jigs for assembling, calibrating and testing products in manufacturing.
- Use various prototyping techniques to type test new designs.
- Identify and work with appropriate materials and suppliers.
- Mechanical Engineering degree
- Solid Works Proficient
- Practical skills to build and test prototypes and parts
- Experience of different prototyping techniques, including additive and subtractive manufacturing processes
