About the Position
We are looking for a dedicated Domestic Assistant to join our team at Cwrt Mytton Residential Care Service. In this role, you will help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents and assist with food preparation to support their daily needs. Your work will contribute to the comfort and well-being of individuals living in our care home.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out cleaning duties throughout the home to maintain high hygiene standards.
- Assist the cook with food preparation and light meal cooking as required.
- Follow health and safety procedures and participate in risk assessments.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to Council policies and safeguarding principles.
- Attend training, supervision, and team meetings to support your professional development.
- Undertake any other duties appropriate to the role as directed by the Registered Manager.
- Flexible approach to working hours, including weekends and split shifts.
- Respect for residents’ dignity, independence, and confidentiality.
- Commitment to equality and anti-discriminatory practice.
- Previous experience in catering or domestic work.
- Knowledge of kitchen hygiene and health & safety procedures.
- Enhanced DBS check required.
- Training and development opportunities provided.
