An opportunity has arisen for a Cook Team Leader within the North Wales Adolescent Unit who is enthusiastic, reliable, motivated and who has experience of producing food. We are looking for an individual who will work well as part of a team and also able to manage their own time. Working hours on a rota system including weekends. Working hours 7:30am - 3:30pm.
The Catering team within Central have responsibility for producing in excess of 1800 patient meals per day as well providing meals for on staff working on site. Key responsibilities for employees are ensuring all food safety standards are adhered to in accordance with current legislation as well as high standards of cleanliness. Basic duties include the preparation and cooking of food for patients, staff, visitors and functions and the maintenance of high standards of quality and hygiene are essential for the post holder.
- Sufficient experience of working as a Chef Catering for large numbers
- Flexible approach to work and needs of the service
- Excellent team worker.
- Friendly and professional approach
- Maybe required to work in other units
- Weekend work included
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post;
