Join a large independent firm in Stockport as an Audit Senior Your new firm This is a leading independent firm in the North West looking to bring in a new audit senior into their team. Long established in Stockport they work with some of the most prestigious businesses across the North West offering services across audit, accounts, tax and corporate finance.

Your new role As an audit senior, you will take an in-charge role on audit engagements reporting into your manager. You will manage the audit process from planning through to completion, delegating work to juniors and semi-seniors whilst assisting with tricky and complex areas. You will demonstrate a high level of technical knowledge by assuring work is completed to high standards whilst maintaining communication with the client and keeping them updated on any progress, What you'll need to succeed The firm are seeking a newly qualified (ACA/ACCA) auditor who possesses strong previous experience in audit.

The ideal candidate will have a good technical knowledge of UK audit frameworks and reporting standards and be able to lead and motivate juniors and semi-seniors through coaching and mentoring. What you'll get in return In return you will receive a highly competitive salary of between £35,000 and £43,000 (DOE) as well as a rang of standard company benefits. You will join one of the fastest growing audit teams in the north west and have plentiful progression opportunities in front of you from pathways to manager or an introduction into their corporate finance team.

Furthermore, the firm operates a hybrid working approach and also has an office in Manchester which can be used as opposed to Stockport.
