Business Services/Accounts Manager

Clark Wood, specialist recruiters in public practice, is collaborating with a dynamic and well‑established firm of accountants in Abergavenny. Due to their ongoing growth, they are looking to appoint an ACA or ACCA Qualified Business Services (non‑audit) Accounts Manager. This role presents a clear path to Director level for the right candidate.

You will closely collaborate with the Director, overseeing a diverse client portfolio primarily comprising owner‑managed businesses. Your responsibilities include ensuring accurate and efficient completion of compliance work for clients within your portfolio, focusing on the preparation and review of statutory accounts and tax returns. Most clients operate below the audit threshold. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in Accounts and Tax roles within client‑facing environments, with significant exposure to SMEs and OMBs.
