Overview

At Cross Reach, Senior Care Workers play a key leadership role in delivering high quality, person centred care while supporting teams on shift. Working within a Christian care setting, this is a hands on role where your experience, values and professionalism help create a safe, supportive and respectful home.

Responsibilities
  • Providing high quality personal and intimate care with dignity and respect
  • Leading shifts and supporting Care Workers through guidance and example
  • Allocating tasks and ensuring care plans and routines are followed
  • Supporting medication administration in line with training and policies
  • Acting as a key worker and contributing to assessments and reviews
  • Maintaining accurate records and meeting regulatory and quality standards
  • Promoting a calm, safe and respectful environment for residents and colleagues
About You

You are an experienced and confident care professional with a genuine commitment to supporting older people. You will be comfortable taking responsibility on shift and supporting others to deliver consistent, person centred care. You will hold an SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care and have a strong understanding of safeguarding and professional standards. As this role is based within a Christian care setting, you will be a practising Christian and able to support the Christian ethos and spiritual life of the service with integrity and respect.

You are organised, reliable and approachable, with the confidence to lead by example.
