Job Description

In this role, you will be supporting two young men with learning disabilities to live independently in their own homes in Aberchirder. These young men are outgoing, fun-loving guys who enjoy going out to the movies and theatre, playing football and enjoy the company of others and you'll be supporting and enabling them to do all the things any young adult would do on a day-to-day basis.

The role of a Support Worker changes every day, but some of the areas you’ll support with include personal care, household tasks (cooking and cleaning) and social support. You will receive full, paid training in this role so you’ll learn everything you need to know with us.

We are currently recruiting for relief staff and the shift patterns are generally:

  • 9am - 9am (includes sleepover)
  • 9am - 3pm (weekends)
  • 4.30pm - 9.30pm (weekdays)
Requirements

A UK Driving License Is Essential For This Role.

We know it takes a special person to work in social care and we recognise that not everyone that would be perfect for the role, will have professional experience.
