We are looking for a fully qualified Skilled Mechanic with previous experience and knowledge of PSV/HGV vehicles. For helping keep our fleet on the road, you ll earn a good salary and great benefits. We ll also provide your overalls and the basic tools and equipment needed for you to be successful in your role. You ll also have the opportunity to work on state of the art electric buses and broaden your skill base.

As a night shift Skilled Mechanic at our Aberdeen depot, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Diagnosing and repairing vehicle faults, servicing, and replacing parts as needed
• Identifying issues accurately and recommending the correct method of repair and parts required
• Performing routine inspections and servicing using handheld data capture devices (where applicable)
• Attending roadside breakdowns and supporting vehicle recoveries
• Road-testing vehicles to confirm issues or check work after repairs

Location: Aberdeen, 395 King Street, AB24 5RP

Working Hours: 38 hours, 22.00 – 06.00, 5 over 7 days (can be discussed more at interview)

Pay: £23.33 per hour + £2000 JOINING BONUS!!!

• Do you have a minimum of a Level 3 NVQ standard or equivalent qualification in mechanics, preferably in HGV/PSV? We will happily consider candidates from different mechanical backgrounds.
• Do you have a valid UK driver's licence and the ability to obtain a PCV license?
• Do you have vehicle/autoelectrical experience/knowledge?
