Overview

Our client, based in Aberdeen, is seeking an Operations & Logistics Coordinator to join their team on a month-to-month basis to provide sick cover. This is a fast-paced and varied role supporting the Operations & Logistics function to ensure the smooth mobilisation and demobilisation of personnel and equipment.

The Role

You will assist the Operations & Logistics Lead and wider Operations Team with all logistical and operational tasks. The successful candidate will help ensure projects are delivered efficiently, customer expectations are met, and all company workflow, certification, and ISO documentation requirements are adhered to.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the operational point of contact for customers regarding mobilisation and demobilisation of personnel and equipment.
  • Support the Operations & Logistics Lead with operational, logistical, and departmental tasks.
  • Assist with planning and organising personnel and equipment resources for projects, including purchasing, acquisition, and third-party evaluation.
  • Raise purchase orders in line with company policy.
  • Support commercial, technical, and operations teams in assessing equipment availability.
  • Assist in the preparation of project documentation.
  • Visit customer premises to discuss operational matters when required.
  • Ensure documentation and certification packages are valid and complete prior to loadout.
  • Maintain effective communication across departments throughout workflow procedures.
  • Assist in developing operational activity plans.
  • Ensure job trackers are maintained and up to date.
  • Liaise with the accounts department for month-end invoicing.
  • Maintain and update customs paperwork as required.
  • Ensure all job-specific documentation is filed accurately and promptly.
  • Monitor and track time and resources allocated to specific jobs.
  • Prepare updates and attend daily operations meetings.
  • Attend internal or external training as required.
  • Undertake any other reasonable duties as required by management.
Desired Qualities/Qualifications

Qualifications & Experience

  • Previous experience in operations and logistics (preferred).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Full, clean driving licence (essential).
