SJIB Electrician

SJIB Electrician / Electrician / Industrial Electrician required to join a world leading electromechanical manufacturer based in Aberdeen. The successful candidate will provide commercial and electrical repair and installations of AC/DC circuits, control panels, battery sources and other industrial electrical products and systems.

• £40,000 - £45,000
• Overtime - earnings of around £60k

• Provide commercial and electrical repair and installations of AC/DC circuits, control panels, battery sources and other industrial electrical related products and systems.
• Ensure compliance with the 18th edition wiring regulations for all electrical work completed.
• Submit accurate visit and time sheets duly signed by the customer upon completion of the work.
• Perform emergency breakdown fault finding and repairs of industrial electrical engineering systems/equipment such as AC/DC circuits, generators, and AC/DC motors.
• Liaise with various engineering departments.

• Experience as an Electrician / Industrial Electrician / Commercial Electrician / Electrical Engineer or similar.
• Be an SJIB, 18th edition qualified electrician with background of industrial / commercial electrical service and installation.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and technical drawings.
• Offshore experience desired but not essential.
• Electrically apprentice trained, HNC, HND or Degree would be advantageous.
• Must be commutable to Aberdeen Harbour.
