Area Sales Engineer - Rotaflow Talent Solutions

The role is based in North & East Scotland, covering Edinburgh, Dundee, Perth, Aberdeen, Inverness and surrounding areas.

Salaries range from £45,000 to £55,000 plus up to 30% annual bonus, accompanied by an electric company car.

We represent a British manufacturer of process solutions based in the UK, recognised as a leader in its field and delivering state‑of‑the‑art manufacturing solutions across food & beverage, water, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, and industrial markets. The company prioritises training and development for its staff.

• Identify, drive and deliver sales and profit growth across the designated area.
• Engage primarily with end users in diverse industries such as food & beverage, pharmaceuticals, universities and hospitals.
• Manage relationships with OEMs and support/distribute partners, focusing on solution selling.
• Maintain and expand an existing account base, ensuring strong coverage across the region.

• Proven record in developing sales within industrial and process industries.
• Engineering or business qualification is advantageous but not essential if relevant experience is provided.
• Experience selling engineering products and knowledge of industrial customers in process/production sectors.
• Motivated to learn new products and technologies.
• Field sales or internal sales experience.
• Previous experience with process systems not required; comprehensive training will be provided.

The position welcomes candidates from a range of related disciplines, including sales engineers, sales managers, area managers, business development managers, key account managers, and sales specialists. International and leadership opportunities are available for successful candidates.

Travel may be required, including overnight stays, depending on location within the designated area.
