Based in Cromarty, the Lighthouse Field Station () was established in 1990 with the dual aim of supportingresearch within the School of Biological and integrating this work into the School’s teaching and outreach activities.
Our research aims to understand how natural and man-made environmental changes influence the behaviour and population dynamics of marine mammals and seabirds. This work directly supports regional conservation and management programmes, and has developed best practice case studies that provide insights into marine resource management issues elsewhere in the world
We are now seeking an experienced individual to provide support for researchers conducting both land and marine based fieldwork. The post will be a fixed term 40-100% FTE to March 2027.
Salary will be on Grade 4, £27,319 per annum with placement according to qualifications and experience.
