Overview
Well-Safe Solutions have an exciting opportunity fo a Corporate & Quality Assurance Advisor (offshore experience essential) to join our team based in Aberdeen - there may be a requirement to visit and work at other company locations or supplier premises as required.
The Corporate & Quality Assurance Advisor will report directly to the Senior Corporate Assurance Advisor, with functional reports to the Well-Engineering & Operations teams.
Offshore experience for this role is essential as a key component of this role is to focus on our offshore assets - there may be a requirement to travel offshore on ocassion.
RoleThe responsibilities of this role are to include the faciliation and management of the company's integrated Management System to levels that will successfully achieve the requirements of all interested parties including customer, regulatory and certification authroities/providers.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe Corporate Assurance Advisor will:
- Conduct and facilitate BMS Audits and Improvement plans
- Conduct and facilitate MAH, Rig/Asset Assurance Audits Offshore and Shipyard
- Monitor and support the timely close out of BMS reports including Non-Conformances, Lessons Learned and Management of Change
- Support BMS Investigations, Root Cause Analysis and the ongoing monitoring of preventative measures
- Facilitate the delivery of Corporate Assurance Knowledge, Awareness and Competence initiatives
- Facilitate Independent Verification body, Approval body, External Provider and/or Interested Party Audits and Assessment activities
- Support Asset transition plans and assurance activities
- Be proactive in the implementation of Project Assurance plans
- Provide support to members of the HSE Team
- Support and mentor onshore and offshore personnel
- Contribute to and support Well-Safe’s HSE Strategies, Aims and Objectives
- Assist in the promotion of a culture of excellence through continuous improvement, to achieve departmental and company aims and objectives
- Carry out any other tasks required with the competence of the role and the jobholder
Prioritises safety first and pro-actively looks for opportunities to intervene to prevent safety incidents. Complies with all organisational safety standards and guidance. Looks for opportunities through their role to improve safety through understanding risk and the importance of reducing hazards. Holds those that do not comply with relevant safety standards to account.
Skills & Experience- Oil and Gas Industry experience
- Offshore Survival
- Certified Internal Auditor Training as recognised by IRCA
- Minimum 2 yrs. experience in the auditing of QHSE Managements systems
- Proven experience in the production of Process and Procedural documentation
- Health and Safety Qualification
- Investigation and Root Cause Analysis Training
- Experience in the use of Software for the implementation of an approved MS
- Health and Safety Qualification at IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent
- Certified Lead Auditor Training as recognised by IRCA
- Knowledge and experience of full well life cycle.
- CPD maintained in accordance with relevant Professional bodies (i.e. CQI, IOSH, IEMA)
