Quality Manager

My client are currently looking to recruit a Quality Lead to join their site in North Lanarkshire. You will be working with an extremely successful and well established Scottish FMCG company, that are going through a continued period of development and investment. As a membership of their leadership team, you will ensure that all products meet their high standards and quality and safety, aligning with both company and regulatory requirements.

Within this position, you will lead the quality control team, implement and monitor quality procedures, conduct inspections and address any issues that may arise.

• Oversee quality control processes
• Develop and maintain quality assurance protocols
• Lead and mentor the quality control team
• Conduct product inspections, audits, and quality assessments to identify areas for improvement
• Collaborate with production and supply chain teams
• Analyse quality data and metrics to report findings and recommend improvements to senior management

• Previous experience in quality management within the food production industry
• Strong knowledge of quality assurance principles, food safety regulations, and industry standards
• Leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team
• Experience in conducting audits and implementing quality control measures
  
  HACCP certification and knowledge of BRC standards is preferred
