Staff Nurse – Ward 112 Inpatient Haematology (36‑hour position)
Fixed term 11‑month contract.
We have a vacancy for a full‑time Staff Nurse in Ward 112 Haematology Inpatients. We provide highly specialised care for patients with a range of haematological conditions. The care is varied, busy and highly rewarding, with patients receiving high‑intensity chemotherapy, stem cell transplantation, supportive and holistic care and acutely unwell unscheduled care. Staff in this friendly and supportive team develop a wide range of nursing skills and knowledge.
The Anchor Unit is sociable, fast‑moving and progressive; actively supporting and promoting nurse‑led activities, development and further study, and offering excellent opportunities for both professional and personal development.
The candidate will work 12‑hour shifts and be willing to work day and night duty, providing a high standard of person‑centred care to individuals and being forward‑thinking with regard to change management.
Requirements- Whilst some haematology/oncology experience is desirable it is not essential.
- If not currently on the SACT register, the successful candidate will undertake a chemotherapy module; training, funding and support will be provided.

Additional Information for CandidatesAs from 1/4/26 the Agenda for Change full‑time working week will reduce from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part‑time hours will be reduced pro‑rata. However, there will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.
