Role Description

The Marketing and Communications Lead will drive strategic marketing and increase awareness and understanding of Well-Safe Solutions both internally and externally. They will develop content and messaging to elevate its reputation and position the business as a market leader in the industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote Well-Safe Solutions externally and internally through multiple marcomms campaigns targeting separate audiences, regions and specialisms.
  • Take the lead role in company internal communications, providing support and guidance to leadership teams.
  • Collaborate with department heads to produce engaging content.
  • Develop, activate, manage and assess the effectiveness of external and internal marcomms campaigns using appropriate tools (e.g. Google My Business, Analytics).
  • Plan and lead company participation in exhibitions, conferences and events.
  • Administer the company’s online presence including, but not limited to, the website, social media platforms, search engine ranking and intranet pages.
  • Lead on media management including media relations, press releases and thought leadership articles.
  • Manage third‑party agencies (e.g. graphic designers, web developers) as required.
  • Stay abreast of key business milestones as well as wider industry trends.
  • Compile data and report on marcomms performance to executive team.
  • Oversee and manage the marketing budget.
Qualifications
  • Degree qualification in communications, marketing, graphic design or equivalent.
  • Industry experience.
  • Experience in client‑side or agency public relations, journalism or relevant field.
  • Comprehensive communication skills, including copywriting and presenting.
  • Proven self‑starter with ability to work independently and as a team player.
  • Robust influencing, networking and negotiation skills and ability to manage.
  • Fluency with software including Adobe design suite, MS Office, Google Analytics.
Desired
  • Previous experience and knowledge of the energy sector, including oil and gas.
  • Existing relationships within the media and energy sector.
