Production Assembler
Location: Wellingborough, Northamptonshire
Salary: £28,783.46 per annum
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Hours: Mon–Thurs: 07:00–16:15, Fri: 07:00–12:00
Our established client, based in Wellingborough, is recruiting a Production Assembler to work within General Assembly & Testing, Kitting & Materials Handling and Pre-Calibration & Final Inspection.
Key Responsibilities- Assemble and test complex electromechanical components and sensors
- Carry out leak/pressure testing, wiring, bead blasting, and final inspection
- Use technical drawings and production instructions accurately
- Maintain tools, follow health & safety, and support continuous improvement
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams on process documentation
- 2+ years’ experience in assembly or manufacturing (ideally in small-batch or high-spec environments)
- Comfortable with hands‑on technical tasks and light physical work
- Ability to read technical drawings/instructions and use standard PC tools (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Flexible, detail-oriented, team player with a strong work ethic
- IPC soldering certification, NVQ 2/3 in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, PCN Level 2 Dye Pen
