Role: Head of Operations. You will be responsible for the strategic development and operational performance of In-Clinic Services, Telemedicine Consultation Services, and Client Support Services. You will lead a team of managers to ensure seamless, client-centered service delivery that aligns with BPAS goals and standards.

We are looking for an accomplished leader with extensive experience managing diverse, geographically dispersed teams, with a track record of delivering strategic objectives, performance management, and continuous improvement in a healthcare or social care environment.

• Strategic Planning - Develop and implement strategic and operational plans to align services with BPAS organisational goals.
• Operational Oversight - Ensure services across In-Clinic Operations, Telemedicine, and Client Support are delivered to high-quality standards, on time, and within budget.
• Resource Management - Oversee capacity management, workforce planning, and resource allocation to ensure timely, safe, and effective care.
• Leadership & Development - Provide leadership, motivation, and guidance to managers, supporting their development and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Performance Management - Define and monitor KPIs ensuring alignment with organisational objectives. Identify underperformance and take corrective actions as needed.
• Budget Management - Lead on budget plans and financial oversight for all service areas, ensuring expenditure aligns with performance and quality objectives.
• Change Management - Lead and implement organisational changes across departments to improve client experiences, operational efficiency, and service quality.
• Compliance & Quality - Foster a culture of continuous improvement and client-centered care, ensuring services are consistently compliant and ready.
• Stakeholder Engagement - Represent BPAS at events, building strong relationships with commissioners, regulators, and external partners.
• Complaint & Risk Management - Provide oversight for complaints, incidents, and investigations, ensuring appropriate escalation and resolution.

The British Pregnancy Advisory Service (BPAS) is the UK's largest independent reproductive healthcare charity, providing evidence-based, not-for-profit reproductive healthcare. We work mainly on behalf of the NHS, offering abortion care, contraception, and STI testing and treatment across the country.
