Overview
Our client is recruiting for the position of FPSO Asset Team Lead based in Aberdeen. This is a PAYE contractor position.
The Asset Team Lead will ensure that asset activities are assessed, planned and effectively managed to maintain regulatory compliance, safety standards, and equipment availability and reliability. The role supports offshore maintenance, preservation and inspection by ensuring onshore resources identify correct priorities and are closely aligned with area business plans and operational requirements. It is also the focal point for supporting the marketing and sale of the asset from a technical perspective.
Responsibilities- Leading the asset onshore and offshore team on a day-to-day basis
- Responsible for asset budgets and control of associated costs, supported by OIM for offshore budgets.
- Strive to create a safe workplace and protect the environment in compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations.
- Effective management of the Asset transition plans.
- Develop an onshore and offshore staffing strategy, ensuring alignment with existing staffing philosophies, and implement changes.
- Implement a training and competency plan for the offshore workforce to ensure competency of core crew whilst containing spend.
- Accountable for recruitment and selection of offshore staff and key contractors.
- Manage the emergency response plan and associated systems, ensuring it remains fit for purpose.
- Oversee key design deliverables to ensure facilities meet operational requirements.
- Participate in HAZOPS and HAZIDS as required.
- Develop and maintain operations standards, procedures and work processes for operations.
- Ensure operations input to the contracting strategy for asset operations.
- Plan activities with key internal and external interfaces.
- Make regular trips offshore to enhance communication and promote understanding of the field plan and annual goals.
- Maintain close liaison with the Commercial Department to ensure compliance with all commercial agreements and JOA.
- Lead the technical aspects of the marketing and sale of the FPSO.
- Compile relevant data and make required amendments for a data room for potential buyers.
- Support preparation of delivery of a Management Presentation to potential buyers and lead visits to the FPSO.
- Deal with Q&A received from interested parties.
- Contribute to commercial negotiations to ensure technical deliverables can be met within agreed timelines.
- On execution of an SPA, act as focal point for provision of data and procedures to the buyer, and deliver on handover milestones in compliance with SPA terms.
- Define the cold stack and manage change requirements.
- Familiarise with company policies on HSE, Risk Management and Major Hazards, and be conversant with the company Management System.
- Aware of all risks for People, the Environment, Assets and Reputation (PEAR).
- Understand and comply with roles and responsibilities.
- Fully participate in the company Serious About Safety Program and any additional HSEQ training or instruction.
- Ensure all safety standards and procedures are strictly followed; report incidents, near misses, hazards and improvement suggestions.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and implement mitigation measures; ensure all risk assessments are documented.
- Ensure all operations comply with relevant regulations and standards and that all correspondence is correctly recorded and cascaded.
