Our renowned oil & gas operating client are currently seeking an Offshore Installation Manager to work with them on a short-term Temporary Agency Worker contract role in the UK. The role and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Support the Engineering Preparation Removal and Disposal (EPRD) campaign schedule, which comprises three major decommissioning activities from Construction Support Vessels (CSVs) across several disembarked assets.
- Responsible for all activity within company installation 500m zones during the removal contractor's preparation and lifting activities.
- Hold primacy and be responsible for command and control of the company installation in the event of an emergency in accordance with PFEER regulations.
- During the offshore campaigns the OIM will form part of the offshore vessel team supervising preparation and lift activities executed from removal contractor vessels.
- Accountable for strict application of the Safety Case requirements and exceptions and all associated procedures and processes, including management of the operational and emergency bridging documents where relevant.
- Provide strong, safety focused oversight across complex work scopes.
Applicants will have detailed knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements for work on offshore installations, proven supervisory and people management experience in offshore or marine industries, and the following essential qualifications: OPITO Major Emergency Management Initial Response, OIM Controlling Emergencies Coaching and Assessment and OIM Rules and Regulations.
All candidates must hold the industry competency certification required for this role: BOSIET with CA-EBS, Medical and MIST. This role will include offshore travel.
