The Role and Responsibilities

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to work in the Commercial team as Contracts Manager at our Aberdeen office. This role is responsible for ensuring that all contractual agreements entered into by Ener Mech are drafted, reviewed and approved in accordance with Ener Mech's policies and procedures, as well as ensuring that business risks are minimised.

As Contracts Manager you will manage the Contracts department including allocation of workload in your team, priority setting, resourcing, training & development, you will lead contractual negotiations with potential clients and provide support and guidance in respect of dispute resolution/management of claims. You will take part and contribute to tender review meetings, ensure all guarantees and bonds are issued in accordance with Ener Mech policy and liaise with internal departments such as the Tax team, Insurance and Legal.

Requirements

You will be Degree Qualified in Business Management, Quantity Surveying or Law and have experience working within the Oil, Gas and/or Energy Sector. Ideally you will have experience in a client facing, contract drafting and negotiation type role and have some experience overseeing a small team.

It is also required for the successful candidate to have had exposure to international/overseas Contract related work.

The ideal candidate will possess Commercial and Contractual diligence, and be adept with project management and risk analysis.
