Helicopter Mechanic

Matchtech is proud to be supporting our client, a leading international helicopter operator, in their search for an Aircraft Mechanic to join their established maintenance team in Aberdeen. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a high‑performing rotary environment supporting offshore operations across the North Sea.

The Role

As an Aircraft Mechanic, you will carry out maintenance, inspections, and repair activities on the company's rotary fleet in accordance with UK CAA regulations and internal quality standards. Working as part of a skilled engineering team, you will contribute to the safe and efficient delivery of aircraft availability for daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks on rotary aircraft in line with UK CAA Part‑145 requirements.

Assist with troubleshooting, defect rectification, and component replacement.

Ensure all work is completed to the highest safety and compliance standards.

Accurately complete maintenance documentation and technical records.

Support the wider engineering team during heavy maintenance inputs and AOG situations.

Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant working environment.

What We're Looking For

Proven experience as an Aircraft Mechanic within a rotary aviation environment (military or civil).

Strong understanding of UK CAA regulatory requirements (Part‑145).

Ability to interpret technical manuals, drawings, and maintenance data.

A proactive, safety‑driven approach with strong attention to detail.

Eligibility to live and work in the UK (essential).
