Oracle DB technical Architect

Location:
London, UK (2 days in a week from office, Hybrid)

Job type: 6 Months contract with possible extension

• This role requires the candidate who is already holding active Security Check (SC) clearance in accordance with UK Government standards.

• Design, implement and manage Exadata Cloud Service ExaCS database solutions
• Develop and maintain database architecture strategies to support business goals
• Lead the migration and integration of databases across multi cloud database environments including Oracle Cloud, AWS, Azure and Google Cloud
• Ensure high availability, scalability and performance of database systems
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define and implement database solutions that meet business requirements.

• Hands‑on experience with migrating large databases to Exadata ExaCS/ExaCC platform.
• Experience with migrating databases to ATP/ADW.
• Design database consolidation and reduce OPEX spending.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior database architects and administrators.
