Activities Lead at Woodlands Care Home,
Contract:
Full Time, Salary: £15.00 Per Hour, Shift Type:
Days, Contracted hours: 40 hours.
Our care home, situated in the Craigiebuckler area of Aberdeen, offers Residential, Nursing, Dementia, Respite, and Palliative care for up to 81 residents in a calm and supportive environment. We are seeking a dynamic Activities Lead to design and implement engaging activities in partnership with the Home Manager, tailored to residents’ needs and interests.

Key Responsibilities
- Activity Planning & Execution: Design and lead monthly and individual activity programs that cater to a variety of interests, helping residents maintain their hobbies and discover new ones.
- Promote Social Interaction: Facilitate social opportunities that encourage residents to connect and enjoy their time in the care home.
- Maintain Accurate Records: Keep detailed records of all activities to ensure that every event is documented and meets resident needs.
- Event Planning Expertise: A proven ability to develop and organize diverse activities and events.
- Creative Flair: A friendly, creative, and confident personality that can engage and inspire residents.
- Passion for Elderly Care: A genuine interest in improving the quality of life for the elderly.
- Strong Communication: Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the confidence to lead and work as part of a team.
- Independent & Proactive: Ability to work on your own initiative, bringing fresh ideas to life.
