Overview
We are delighted to advertise two full-time Band 5 Rotational Occupational Therapy posts within our exciting and varied rotation. This post provides the opportunity for an innovative, enthusiastic therapist to gain experience within a rotation in the Acute Sector, and Aberdeen City Health and Social Care Partnership.
ResponsibilitiesThe post will involve working closely with Senior Occupational Therapists and multi-disciplinary/multi-agency teams to assess and treat patients with a variety of conditions in a number of settings, both inpatient and community, throughout Aberdeen City.
At present, current rotations include Trauma and Elective Orthopaedics, Acute Stroke, Medical, Surgical, Critical Care, Oncolocgy, Vascular, Orthopaedic Rehabilitation, Stroke Rehabilitation, Frailty assessment and rehabilitation, and Community Rehabilitation.
Opportunities for continuous personal development (CPD) are encouraged with regular supervision, preceptorship for newly qualified Occupational Therapists, in‑service training programme and access to Band 5 Support Group.
QualificationsApplicants must be registered with HCPC, have a valid full UK Drivers Licence, and access to a car for work purposes.
Interview DetailsInterviews will involve a practical element, therefore in person interviews only. We are unable to support any online interviews for this post.
