Role DescriptionAs Group Management Accountant, you will perform professional accounting work involving compilation, review, and analysis of financial data. You will also manage the ledgers and ensure the timely and accurate preparation of the trial balance and monthly financial statements, along with variance analysis and supporting balance sheet reconciliations. Assisting with the monitoring and reporting of the operational performance and financial return of the rental asset fleet is also within your remit.
You will also have responsibility for supporting the preparation of annual budgets as well as periodic forecasts.
Working both independently and as part of a wider Finance team, the Group Management Accountant is expected to maintain the highest standards of professionalism while fostering a strong culture of safety, quality, and accountability.
To apply for this post you must hold or be working towards a professional qualification (e.g. ACCA/CGA/CIMA) and hold a university degree in accounting or finance, or have demonstrable experience working at the level required. Experience of working in a subsidiary of an international group would also be a distinct advantage. Having comprehensive knowledge of global finance reporting requirements and the ability to apply accepted accounting techniques and standard practices to the classification and recording of financial transactions is a must along with excellent working knowledge of Excel and computerised accounting packages.
