Role Description

This is a full-time, hybrid role for a Paraplanner with the option to be based in our main offices of Aberdeen, Perth, Stirling, Glasgow or Edinburgh. As a Paraplanner, you will be responsible for supporting financial planners in managing client files, ensuring that annual reviews and reporting are conducted promptly and to a consistent, high standard. You will be involved in client reports, conducting research on financial products, preparing analytical insights, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

The role includes a significant amount of client communication, maintaining client files, evaluating strategies and analysing financial plans, in addition to providing administrative support to ensure smooth client service delivery.

Qualifications
  • Strong skills in Financial Planning and Investments
  • Proficiency in Analytical Skills and Finance
  • Experience in Report Writing and developing accurate, clear documentation
  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities
  • Strong knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements in the financial industry
  • Professional qualifications, such as a Diploma in Financial Planning or progress towards it, are an advantage
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with financial advisors and clients
