FP&A Accountant

Acteorl provides industry‑leading products and services to support marine and subsea projects across the renewable, nearshore construction and oil and gas sectors. The role is full‑time, permanent and will be based at our Aberdeen or Norwich facilities.

• Strategic Planning: develop and manage long‑term business plans for each business line/group consolidation.
• Stakeholder Management: collaborate with Business Lines to influence outcomes.
• Financial Analysis: analyse financial data to identify trends, variances and improvement opportunities.
• Scenario Planning: conduct dynamic modelling scenario analysis to aid decision‑making.
• Capex Management: manage submissions tracker, approvals and status.
• Investment Planning: assist with the assessment of capital investment requests.
• Decision Support: provide financial analysis required for strategic decisions.
• Budgeting: assist with redesign and drive the annual budget process.
• Board Reporting: assist with routine and ad hoc board reporting.
• Develop and maintain ongoing 5‑year business plans using dynamic models, including scenario planning when required.
• KPI Reporting: develop and maintain regular KPI reporting using available systems.
• Conduct scenario analysis with Business Lines сниужанные для new markets, products or services and disposals or divestments.
• Assist Business Lines to evaluate potential capital investments.
• Monitor and analyse variances such as capital expenditure and project cost overruns.
• Drive various special project analyses and reviews such as cost‑reduction programmes, headcount reviews and project reviews.
• Maintain Power BI and other dashboards as required.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
• Assist with various business reporting such as Board Reports.
• Produce ad hoc investor reporting as required.
• Assist Business Lines to improve or align processes where necessary.
• Participate in ad‑hoc business and process improvement projects and working groups across the business as required.

Qualifications
• Build and maintain strong relationships with business partners, senior management including board members.
• Analyze complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
• Expertise in financial software and tools, including advanced Excel and ERP systems.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to communicate across geographically and culturally diverse teams.
• Work autonomously and generate ideas.
• Present data unambiguously and challenge existing formats.
• Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills.
• Manage complex datasets from multiple sources.
• Excellent verbal and written communication for presenting findings to stakeholders.
• High proficiency in financial modelling, Excel and financial software.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics or a related field.
• 3+ years Big‑4 or related finance experience.
• Power BI experience.
• Qualified or working towards ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent.
