Cooper Parry Finance Recruitment have been engaged to source an experienced Management Accountant on a full time, staff basis. Our client is a leading provider of offshore support services to the energy, marine, and government sectors. This role will be based in Aberdeen City Centre with hybrid and flexible working.

• Preparation of monthly management accounts in line with internal close timeline
• Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations for review and follow up to clear reconciling items on a timely basis
• Review Profit & Loss trends and provide variance analysis to budget and prior year
• Weekly cashflow reporting
• Monthly opex reviews with operational departments
• Provide financial insights and analysis to guide and aid decisions
• Completion of VAT/PAYE returns
• Preparation of financial statements
• Provide support during annual external audit
• Provide support on Accounts Payable and Receivable
• Support on controls improvement initiatives and identify areas for improvement database

• ACCA/CIMA/ICAS, working towards accreditation or equivalent experience
• Previous experience in a management accounting position
• Understand double entry accounting
• Previous experience of cashflow reporting
• Ability to identify and fulfil stakeholders’ requirements
• Ability to foster collaboration and effective team work
• Demonstrated ability to get results through influence and collaboration
• Strong analytical skills
• Proficient in IT:
  Xero, Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook
