The Senior Well Integrity Engineer provides technical advice and ensures alignment of performance and technical standards with respect to well integrity management. Demonstrates management capability and interacts with teams carrying out well integrity related work at operational sites. Managing verification, maintenance and repair of wells. Defines, documents and provides guidance on the design, control, planning and executing of well integrity management activities for platform and subsea wells.
Perform first point assessment of any Well Integrity Deviations.
- Manage the relationships with service providers, operational sites and other technical functions which support work associated with the management of well integrity
- Maintain the records and reporting of assurance and deficiencies / non-compliances / deviations relating to the condition of each well in compliance with well examination and verification schemes
- Monitor well integrity and ensure compliance with integrity related policies and procedures
- Perform first point assessment of Wells Group integrity dispensations
- Ensure the correct compilation, recording, and maintenance of well operations information relating to assessment of well condition, proposed remedies for integrity problems and actual remediation of well integrity problems
- Liaise with Well Intervention Engineers to co-ordinate resources and supervise personnel carrying out evaluation, maintenance, inspection, and testing to verify well integrity
- Assist with the collation of information and report on activities involving integrity verification, maintenance or remedial work
- Manage the work and expenditure of inspection, testing, verification, repair and maintenance which assures the continuing competence of each well
- Liaise with and access the expertise and support resources of manufacturers and suppliers
- Manage the activities of a small offshore team responsible for the assurance and maintenance of wells
- Ensure that deficiencies and non-conformances are correctly identified, thoroughly analysed, documented and reported in the Synergi system
- Evaluating and recommending remedial actions relating to well integrity
- Provide role specific expertise to the entire well lifecycle
- Collaborate effectively within a Wells Team for streamlined project execution
- Prioritise safety and efficiency in project planning and delivery
- Ensure to focus on performance and cost management to meet project goals
- Ensure focus on continuous improvement
- Utilise digital data for informed decision-making throughout projects
- Demonstrated experience working in Well Integrity Roles
- Onshore/offshore experience with a variety of well designs/types/locations
- Possess a well-rounded technical understanding of the entire well lifecycle, encompassing well design, construction, operation, maintenance, interventions, drilling, and workovers and abandonment
- Proven ability to oversee the installation, commissioning, and optimisation of well equipment, while effectively managing operational activities at the well site
- Experienced in liaising with regulatory authorities on technical matters related to well status, incident reporting, and responding to technical inquiries and concerns
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineering or related fields
- Relevant certification including BOSIET and medical.
- The role may require travelling offshore for certain business requirements
- Provide weekend duty cover, as per the duty rota
