Role DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Rope Access Technical Authority for a full‑time, on‑site role located in Aberdeen. Responsibilities include overseeing all technical aspects of rope access operations, ensuring compliance with safety standards, creating work methodologies, and advising on best practices in line with regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will support project teams in delivering safe and efficient operations, conduct training as required, and provide technical expertise to resolve challenges in rope access activities.
Qualifications- Proven experience in Rope Access operations, including expertise in safety standards and compliance with industry regulations.
- Strong technical knowledge related to asset management, engineering projects, and technical services within industrial or offshore environments.
- Skills in risk assessment, work planning, problem‑solving, and decision‑making.
- Effective communication abilities, team collaboration, and leadership skills to advise and train team members.
- Relevant certifications such as IRATA Level 3 or equivalent, along with knowledge of best practices in rope access.
- Proficiency in industry‑related tools, equipment, and safety systems.
- Experience with project management and a track record of successful operations in demanding environments is highly beneficial.
- HSE awareness and commitment to fostering a safety‑first culture on all projects.
